As we all know, no two individuals are alike. The learners we deal with are also different; they all tend to learn in a unique way. They learn better if they get opportunity to involve more than one sense organ in a particular learning situation. Therefore, adopting multisensory learning strategies always enhances the learning experience of learner. A multisensory learning experience ensure providing a learner with visuals, auditory, kinesthetic and tactile stimulus. Therefore, variety of teaching-learning resources and local environment of the child play an important role in shaping learning experiences of a child. That is why experiences designed within and outside the classroom must include a variety of learning resources to ensure a multisensory approach. We also need to ensure grooming every child into a self-learner who is independent, critical, creative and a problem solver. For this purpose, the child needs to be encouraged to collect information, analyse it, synthesise it and draw inferences to make sense out of the collected information. These processes help children in concept formation. Therefore, we as teachers need to go beyond textbooks and use more and more digital and physical resources.
